Cardamoo ("we", "our", "the app") is a free multiplayer social card game developed by Sanskerje. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
1. Data We Collect
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. You choose a public username visible to other players. We store your game data (chips, stats, history, tournament results, daily challenges, streak data), friends list, device notification tokens, and anonymous analytics.
2. Bug Reports
If you submit a bug report, we collect the report details, optional screenshot, app version, device information (platform, screen size), and current game state to help diagnose issues.
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
Your precise location
Your contacts or phone number
Payment card or bank details (the App Store / Play Store handle payment for the optional Supporter Pack; we never see or store your card details)
We do not sell your personal data. Data is only shared with the service providers listed below to operate the app (for example, Google AdMob receives your advertising ID when you choose to watch a rewarded ad)
4. How We Use Your Data
Provide and maintain the game
Identify you to other players via your username
Send push notifications you opted into
Maintain your friends list and game invites
Track game statistics and achievements
Deliver bug fixes via over-the-air updates
Improve the app based on anonymous analytics
Show optional rewarded ads only if you choose to watch one, and process your optional one-time Supporter Pack purchase
5. Third-Party Services
Google Firebase — Authentication, database, storage, push notifications, analytics
Apple Sign-In — Authentication via Apple ID
Capgo — Over-the-air app updates
Deck of Cards API — Card images (no personal data sent)
Google AdMob — Optional rewarded video ads; only used if you choose to watch one, never required to play
RevenueCat — Processes the optional one-time Supporter Pack purchase; we never see or store your payment card details
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained while you use the app. You can delete your account anytime from Account settings — this removes your user data, friends, username, push tokens, and auth record. Bug reports may be retained for quality improvement.
7. Children's Privacy
Cardamoo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/WSS), Firebase Authentication, profanity filtering, and secure server infrastructure.
9. Your Rights
Delete your account and data from Account settings
Change your username anytime
Request a copy of your data
Disable push notifications in device settings
Sign out anytime
