Cardamoo ("we", "our", "the app") is a free multiplayer social card game developed by Sanskerje. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

Account information — When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo (if available) from the provider. This is used to identify you in the game and to your friends.

Username — You choose a public display name (username) that is visible to other players. Your real name is only visible to you in your account settings.

Game data — We store your chip balance, game history, statistics (hands played, wins, etc.), tournament results, daily challenge progress, and login streak data to provide the game experience.

Friends list — If you add friends, we store those connections so you can invite each other to games and see each other's online status.

Device tokens — If you allow push notifications, we store your device's notification token to send you game alerts (e.g., game invites, tournament invites). You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Bug reports — If you submit a bug report, we collect the report details, optional screenshot, your app version, device information (platform, screen size, user agent), and current game state to help us diagnose issues. Screenshots are stored in Firebase Storage.

Analytics — We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as screen views, feature usage, and app events. This helps us understand how the app is used and improve it. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics data.

Chat messages — Messages sent in-game are transmitted to other players in real time. We do not permanently store chat messages.

Your account data is retained as long as you use the app. You can delete your account at any time from the Account settings screen in the app. When you delete your account, we remove your user data, friends list, username claim, push notification tokens, and Firebase Authentication record. Bug reports may be retained for quality improvement purposes.

Cardamoo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/WSS), Firebase Authentication, profanity filtering on usernames, and secure server infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
